Got High at the CCM!

> Hola! the keyboard here is a little different so excuse every spelling mistake please because i am going to use that as my excusse hahaha. The CCM is awesome! Elder Whelan and i run into eachother everyday and our rooms are next to eachothers. i have also gotten to hang out with Elder Roberts (our cousin from Las Vegas whose going to Honduras) a bit so thats been coolio.

> When we got on the plane from LAX i instantly knew that there was going to be little to no english....all guatemalans. and my seat was in between two women and they didnt know about sharing armrests or personal leg space. the lady on my right was sprawled like on my legs and the lady on my left was a little....gordita but really nice. i had to pee sooooo bad but it all worked out hahahaha.

> so when i left i was having a sore throat and nasal congestion so i was taking day-quil and it was helping but like the third or fourth night i couldnt sleep to i took sone nasal pills and haha night-quil... lets just say that you shouldnt mix drugs... I was swinging my arms in front of me and there were like 17 of them hahahahahahahaha then i thought i was going to die. But i didnt! so thats good.

> my comp. is Elder Gessel he is from sacrimento Cali. and he is super cool.for some reason we always have to go to the bathroom at the same time. haha but we have an "investigator" named Bryan and we have had three lessons so far and they are going awesome! he is getting "baptized" on the 12 of february.

> today we went to the temple then to the distribution center and while we were there we ended up having a rather spiritual conversation with a man thats not a member about things going on in this life. we mostly just listened. then when we had to leave I asked if we could pray before we left and our teacher said yes, so I prayed with my first non member and i didnt choke haha or at least i dont think so... it was good, we were all like in tears while he was talking.

The people here are so amazing and Boy am I excited to do the lords work for and with them.

> The first day I was awake for about a total of 35-40 hours and it was a long and rather stinky time i must say hahaha. Oh!!! There is a Trevor Hancock here and turns out that He was friends with Bronson´s roomate at BYU!!!! Also There is Elder Hauskinsen that Ran the same race as me athte  encampment a few summers ago....WHAT!? Small world. He is from Montana and is super awesome.

> So, all in all its been a good week i have to say :) and i have grown so much and the spanish is coming very well. There is a quick scripture that i want to share with you, si puede creer al que crees todo le es posible. Mark 9:23. I know that through faith in Chirst and our Padre Celestial aanything is possible, anything. This work is amazing and boy it sure is true. if you have doubts, troubles, or whatever else. I know that those can be overcome through hardwork, faith, but also action on your spiritual promptings.

> I have become pretty goos friends with some of the Latino elders here and they are so funny!!! From "oh Elder Darrrrrrrling" acting all starstruck to talking about colombian girls hahahahahaha they are super awesome and help me out with spanish a lot.

> We can´t send pictures while in the CCM(MTC) which is a bummer but hey, only 5 weeks left haha. Man I want to go out into the streets already and talk with the locals and explore! but we get to go out and prostilite in the market week three so i am freakin excited for that! haha We have slowly been learning what words not to use in spanish and the reason for most of them is because ity means that you have a burning desire inside (think about it) hahaha sorry but that was just super funny. Glad to hear how things are going! thanks for the updates and whatnot, and the pics to keep me in the loop. Mom the boy´s room looks awesome.....ARRRGGGHHHH hahahaha.
