Singing In The Rain

Hi! I am happy:)

Because this missionary work is beautiful, just like the flowers that are growing between the piles of trash. Just like the way that we can gain an eternal happiness with our families for ever in heaven. Just like the way a new baby smells with their chubby little bodies. Just like the roosters crow and the dogs bark in the streets of Brillantes, Guatemala. Just like a Temple lit up at night.

Beautiful.

So last time I talked about an Hermano that is going to be baptized this Saturday. And the reason why....Beautiful. He has felt the spirit manifest to him that he can have an eternal life with his Wife and his family. That, is beautiful. Why am I here? Yes, "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." But more importantly, to make families eternal. I can't stop smiling. Every time we have a meeting with them I feel like I am at home. It is kind of a weird feeling, but it is beautiful. Thespirit is always so strong when we are with them. The two of them came to church this last sunday and they brought his son. We didn't know that he had a son haha. Turns out that he was married before and has two kids. But we have only seen the sonat this point. The son, wants to be baptized too. He was telling the primary teachers that he has a desire to be baptized, "where can I be baptized" he was asking! BEAUTIFUL. So that it one of our investigators right now that are on date for baptism. 

We had a miltizona meeting this last week and our prez. came up with something for us to do for two hours everyday called cosechas. In english it means harvest. What we do is basically contacting, but only where we are spiritually prompted to contact. So the day after we got up and got ready, studied, and went to do a cosecha. We followed the spirit down a street and to a family that was outside. We presented ourselves and shared a lesson. ¡PILAS!This family has the Mom, Grandpa, two sons and two daughters and an aunt. and they are on date for the 4th of june. WHAT!? I don't think that there is any way that somebody could read this and not know that this happened because of the spirit. We were spiritually guided to a family that is prepared to know the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to follow him into the waters of baptism. Then, to become an eternal family through the temple....beautiful. 

Ask me how my week was....."beautiful". 

So it starts raining around 4 o'clock here and...I hated the rain back home....HATED!!!!!! UGGHHH! But, there is something different about being soaking wet while doing the Lord's work...it makes you sing. haha. AHHH, it is....beautiful. 

Challenge of the week! haha At night, light a candle, pray, read some scriptures, then just watch the candle and think about the light of Christ. The one through whom we are all saved. The one that gave his life for us. Just ponder his light and then how we can make the world a little brighter by living in a manner of Christ. I love my Savior. I teach his gospel everyday and I get to see the changes that he makes in the lives of the people. But more closely, I know that change that he has made in my life. and That is a message that I will always want to share, That we have a Savior, He loves you. Yes sometimes the places we are in spiritually are really dark and scary, but through his light, We will see the way:) I love you guys.
